Coming Soon Cornerstone Jazz Center!

Atlanta's jazz scene is about to be redefined!!

The Cornerstone Jazz Center, founded by visionary jazz saxophonist Will Scruggs, is thrilled to announce that we have acquired the historic Old Decatur Post Office in Downtown City of Decatur, Georgia. This iconic white marble building at 141 E. Trinity Place is set to be transformed into a premier Jazz Arts Center in the mold of Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Since 2016, Atlanta has been without a dedicated jazz club. We are here to change that. Our ambitious new model as a community-supported, for-profit social enterprise aims to create a vibrant hub where jazz thrives through performance, education, and community engagement.

At Cornerstone Jazz Collective, we will be more than just a jazz club. Our plans for the Jazz Arts Center include:

  • A state-of-the-art jazz club and listening room

  • A flagship restaurant, bar, and coffee shop

  • A music education center with retail and repair services

  • A non-profit affiliate that will support our mission to make jazz music accessible to all

This multi-faceted venue will serve as a dynamic space for both seasoned jazz musicians and new talents to showcase their art, while also providing a gathering place for jazz lovers and the entire Atlanta community.
